I graduated from the Boston Architectural College with a Masters of Interior Design. I also have a B.A. in International Business from Universidad Kino located in Hermosillo, Mexico.
I freelance for a variety of interior designers, including Lovejoy Interiors, where I assist the lead designer/owner to determine client preferences and help define the purpose, function, and design of the intended space, determine all factors affecting the interior planning including; project measurements, documenting the spaces to create floor plans, creating sections and elevations from field measurements, designing lighting and electrical plans, reflected ceiling plans, CAD drawings, and 3-D renderings.
I also source furniture, hardware and fixtures, choose materials, source fabrics and finishes, research new vendors, generate client presentations, construct project worksheets, room finish schedules, color boards, as well as visit client sites, get quotes from vendors, communicate with contractors, handled purchase orders, deliveries and invoicing. And finally I assist with the installation of furniture and staging homes.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp Pro, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) ,Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Acrobat Professional, Design Manager, Social Media.
INTERIOR DESIGN SKILLS:
Hand and Computer Rendering, Space Planning, Furniture Design, Presentation Boards, Floor Plans, Elevations and Section drawings, Model Building, Orthogonal Drawing and Perspective Drawings.
GRAPHIC DESIGN SKILLS:
Logo Design, Business Cards, Business Stationary, Post Cards, Branding, Wedding Invitations, and Website Design.
